Woe to Scoffers and Mockers

During the Rosary Jesus began speaking, "I know that email you received earlier today is on your mind, do not be moved by what others' write, say or think if it does not align with My Will. You need to remain steadfast and only be moved by My Spirit. Your actions must reflect My nature and character, one of love, peace and wisdom. You wanted to quickly answer back to that email in an attitude not pleasing to Me. So, I delayed your response, allowing Me to work through you. As a result, the response will be received in a favorable light and will touch the heart of the recipient.

The Lord continued, "My precious ones, when you are confronted with harsh and attacking words, this is a tactic of the enemy to ensnare you into striking back in retaliation. Do not give into these fleshly desires to respond in like manner. I have chosen you all and set you apart from these worldly thoughts and man's way of thinking and reactions. If you ask Me dear ones, I will grant you the grace to resist the devil, the flesh and the world and to extinguish in you all worldly desires.

"Ask for Holy Spirit to control your thoughts and for Me to govern your heart and mind. Strengthen your resolve to wait upon your Lord in all circumstances and I will guide you. There are times when I prefer all of you not to answer back when confronted with an unpleasant situation or to not speak and remain in silence. Whoever among you walk with the wise shall become wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.

"Those of you who are persecuting and mocking My messengers will one day have to answer for your actions. I say to you, beware of your words against your Creator and against My servants, they are the instruments I work through to instruct all of you in righteous, love and compassion and to draw you closer to My heart.

"If you are ridiculing those who believe in Me and you oppose My Word and say in your hearts, "There is no God", and make it your ambition to denounce those who do follow their God, I say to you, you are headed down the path of destruction and death."

It is written in Psalm 1:1, "Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law, he meditates day and night."

Jesus continued, "Do not entertain the company of those who actively ridicule your faith or you risk having that faith tested and destroyed. Did I not tell my disciples, "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first? If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." And that's in John 15:18-19.

The Lord continued, "My children you should always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks to give the reason for the hope that you have. Do not waiver in ceasing to be the influencer or you may become the influenced and will stray from My teachings." And that was the end of our Lord's message.

In II Peter 3:3, we are warned that "in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires." We know from Scripture that scoffing will only increase as we near the time for Jesus' return. We already see it happening with the blanket acceptance of evolutionary theory that excludes a Creator, the rapid expansion of false religions that deny the deity of Christ and the numeric explosion of those who identify themselves as agnostics and atheists.

Scoffers have always been and will always be present in the world. But there is coming a promised day when "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on Earth and under the Earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father and that is found in Philippians 2:10-11. On that day there will no longer be any scoffers. They will at last accept the truth, and their scoffing will be forever silenced.

Dear Family, let us include these scoffers and mockers of our one true God in our prayers that they will be awaken to the truth about their Creator and will be converted and discover the love of Jesus before it's too late. May God bless you and give you His peace.
